Essbase Security File Corrupted After Upgrade To EPM 11.2.13 (Doc ID 2967249.1)

Symptoms

Unable to start ESSBASE after upgrading to 11.2.13.  Getting essbase.sec permission errors after attempting to apply an update. 

When viewing the file properties via the Linux command ls -al, the command returns question marks where the properties of the file should have been displayed:

?????????? ? ? ? ? ? essbase.sec

Attempting to apply an update patch.
