Symptoms

MSAD (SSL Enabled) users after EPM 11.2.15/Essbase 21c upgrade, unable to login Essbase JET UI, EAS Lite.

Below errors are seen in logs:

essbase_server.log:
Authentication failedauthentication.failure.invalid.credentials
1051293 Login fails due to invalid login credentials

Security.log
Shared Services API error [EPMCSS-00301: Failed to authenticate user. Invalid credentials. Enter valid credentials.].

SharedServicesClient.log
Skipping user directory MSAD failed to communicate with server. EPMCSS-00319: Failed to authenticate user with user directory MSAD. Error connecting to url OU=<OU> RootCause : simple bind failed:  Verify MSAD user directory configuration.
