Refreshing a BQY File in Workspace Returns Error: "Failed to acquire access to database" (Doc ID 786714.1)

Symptoms

Getting the following error message when refreshing a BQY in Workspace:

"Error: Failed to acquire access to database.
SQL API: [SQLConnectW], SQL RETURN: [-1], SQL STATE: [28000], SQL NATIVE ERROR: [18452], SQL MESSAGE: [[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server] Login failed for user ". The user is not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection.]""

The same BQY document works fine in IR Studio.
