This article discusses performance topics for Oracle Business Intelligence Applications version 7.9.6.x.
Scope
The information contained in this bulletin is applicable to Oracle Business Intelligence Applications version 7.9.6.x and is intended for Oracle Business Intelligence Administrators, DBAs and Applications implementers. It covers advanced performance tuning techniques in Informatica and Oracle RDMS, so all recommendations must be carefully verified in a test environment before applying to a production instance.
Please note similar detailed performance recommendation for Teradata are expected in next 12 months. For other databases like DB2, SQL Server detailed performance recommendation will be published in future but no timeframe is available.
