Purpose

A server package build can fail with an error stating that the system was unable to create the spec repository on the server. This document was created to assist customers on troubleshooting package build issues when these error messages are found in the SvrPkgBuild.log and jde.log:

- spkgutil.c:3615 PKGUTL0049 ERROR: Failed to create spec repository.
- spkgutil.c:3617 PKGUTL0050 ERROR: Refer to the JDE.LOG for more information.
- spkgutil.c:4658 PKGUTL0064 ERROR: Failed to create spec repository on the server.
