Purpose

A server package build can fail with an error stating that the system was unable to create the spec repository on the server. This document was created to assist customers on troubleshooting package build issues when these error messages are found in the SvrPkgBuild.log, jde.log and package build kernel.log:

 Scenario 1 - ODB0000164 Error - Cannot drop the table because it does not exist or you do not have permission.
 Scenario 2 - ODB0000164 Error - SQL system error.
 Scenario 3 - ORA-01658 Error - Unable to Create INITIAL Extent for Segment in Tablespace.
 Scenario 4 - ODB0000164 Error - The specified schema name either does not exist or you do not have permission to use it.
 Scenario 5 - Unable to create spec tables due to services not starting cleanly.
