Purpose

The purpose of this document is to provide information on the installation of EnterpriseOne Helps (also known as PeopleBooks) and Frequently Asked Questions. For EnterpriseOne Helps troubleshooting, refer to <Document 961024.1> E1: HELP: Troubleshooting EntepriseOne Helps (PeopleBooks) Known Install Errors and Issues.

About EnterpriseOne Helps (Peoplebooks or PSOL)

EnterpriseOne Helps (PeopleBooks) are the help documentation delivered with EnterpriseOne software. There are three options for configuring Helps. Most sites will want to take advantage of all three.

• Browse. Browse the Helps from a file server or web server.

• Full-text search.

• Context-sensitive help. Configure EnterpriseOne to call Helps as context-sensitive help from both web applications and Windows-based programs. For instance, when a user clicks the Help link in a browser or the Help menu in Windows, the appropriate documentation appears for that form.

The scope of this document is to make the installation and troubleshooting easier and provide e detailed information on existing solutions in the knowledge base.
