Goal

Information Center: Overview of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Fixed Assets > Information Center: Using JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Fixed Assets > Note 1313100.1

Journal entries (F0911 Account Ledger Entries) were posted to both General Ledger and Fixed Assets when they should have been posted to only the General Ledger.  New Asset Master records (F1201) were created for these transactions.  Asset Master records are not needed for these entries, and amounts should not exist in the Fixed Asset Balance File.  This document explains how to correct this situation and how to prevent it from happening in the future.
