The EnterpriseOne (E1) grid control is similar to a spreadsheet. Grids are used to display data (generally a browse grid) and to enable users to enter information (update grid). In order to work with larger amounts of data at any given time, E1 provides grid import and export functionality. This document provides details on various such functionality like copy/paste, Export Assistant, Import Assistant etc.

Scope

This document will review the standard export / import functionality with E1. Additional information on standard functionality can be found in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Foundation Guide

For more application design considerations see the Development Tools: Form Design Aid Guide

For limits on browser functionality see JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1.X Web Client Support Statement (Doc ID 1487909.1) under headings Web Client Firefox Information and Web Client Google Chrome Information

Copy and Paste as well as the clipboard functions begin with the 8.98.3.0 tools release
