Purpose

This document provides information on how to troubleshoot the error message:

An unknown JAS sign in error occurred. Please contact System Administrator.


This message appears when logging into an HTML Client OR Web Development Client. This issue can occur with varying messages and in various JAS debugging logs.

 When login to HTML / Web Client
 ISSUE 1 - ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException:
 ISSUE 2 - com.jdedwards.jas.JDESignon.getUserLanguage
 ISSUE 3 - Database Connection failed for DataSource System - 812:
 ISSUE 4 - Could not find F95820A :
 ISSUE 5 - OCM_DEFAULT_ENTRY_NOT_FOUND - The OCM does not contain a default entry for environment:
 ISSUE 6 - updateableResultSetTimeout=-1 causing Connection and socket write error:
 ISSUE 7 - SRVE0133E: An error occurred while parsing parameters. {0} java.io.IOException: Async IO operation failed (3), reason: RC: 55  The specified network resource or device is no longer available.
 ISSUE 8 - Unable to login to EnterpriseOne "An unknown JAS sign in error occurred" after a JDE User has been created.
 ISSUE 9 - Error: JAS does not have Security Server defined. Exception occured in the JDESignon.loadUserProfileWithPass():Error occured  while loading the UserProfile for the User :JDE com.jdedwards.system.security.SecurityServerException: FAILURE: null
 ISSUE 10 - "Unknown JAS Sign On Error" Occurs When Logging Into New HTML Instance - Error: Caught an exception calling method jdeSignon in the server component with class name com.jdedwards.jas.JDESignon with 2 arguments. java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
 ISSUE 11 - JAS Sign in Error issue while connecting to JDE. "Outofmemory" errors occuring on Websphere 7 web servers, blocking clients from being able to sign into web server.
 When login to a Web Development Client
 ISSUE 1 - User is unable to login to the WEBDEV client.
 ISSUE 2 - Exception occured in the JDESignon.jdeSignon():BuildUserSession Failed. [DATA_SOURCE_NOT_FOUND] Data source for F00921, TBLE not found.
