Purpose

To explain the setup of the work order when using either P13700 or P48201.

Overview - Planning Workbench (P13700) and Work Order Entry (P48201)

Equipment work orders can be managed using either P13700 or P48201. P13700 would be set up to call a version of Manage Equipment Work Orders (P13714) or P48201 to call a version of Work Order Revisions (P17714). When equipment work orders are created using these applications, both a Work Order Master file (F4801) record and a Work Order Master Tag File (F4801T) record are generated. If upgrading from a release earlier than 8.9 and existing work order are not displaying in the grid, the required F4801T work order tag file records can be added using the Work Order Tag File Batch Update (R13810). Display issues in the P13714 can also be caused by an incorrect setting (04 - standard) in the Document Types (P40040) Order Types setup.
