Purpose
Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Manufacturing - Shop Floor provides accessibility on all parts of your work orders until its completion ("Shop Floor Control"), and also has the option named "Orderless Completion", which eliminates dependencies on work orders, so you can achieve your demand-driven goals. It provides complete flexibility to support mixed-mode manufacturing strategy and quick response to any reporting requirements. JD Edwards Manufacturing - Shop Floor is part of Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne supply chain management family of applications.

Scope
For customers upgrading EnterpriseOne software application release level and would like an overview of significant changes in the Shop Floor Control application module.
NOTE: Customers upgrading from EnterpriseOne 8.9, 8.10, 8.11 or 8.11 SP1 application release levels cannot directly upgrade to 9.2. In this case, they need to upgrade to EnterpriseOne 9.0 or 9.1 first, then in a second step, upgrade to 9.2 application release level.
