Last updated on DECEMBER 19, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 8.98 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

XML client generates a unique port number after it connects to E1. How can the port number be hard coded or controled ( note: it is not the Enterprise Server port number).

When running the command "netstat -an" AFTER receiving the successful result, two ports are showing as opened, the ES port number and an unknown port number.

TCP 140.85.194.83:61311 140.85.215.35:20701 TIME_WAIT    ----->  Enterprise Server port Number

TCP 140.85.194.83:61312 140.85.215.35:20705 ESTABLISHED  ----->  How or where do you define this port number.
