Purpose

Question 1: Can the Inventory Transaction Programs (P4112, P4113, P4114, P4116) be used for Bulk Items? An error is received when trying to use Inventory Transfers (P4113) to transfer bulk items from one branch/plant to another.

Question 2: Does Flex Accounting Work for Bulk Stock Transactions?

Question 3: Availability for a particular bulk item is calculated based on the conversion factor which is coming from the Item Unit of Measure (F41002) file. When inquiring in Item Availability (P41202) application using a different unit of measure than the primary, shouldn't the system use the bulk conversion factor instead of the item unit of measure conversion?

Question 4: Is Inventory Cost Level 3 (Item Lot/Location) supported for bulk items? Would the Tank to Tank Transfer (P415101) application allow a cost difference between the two tanks? The system currently throws "Different Unit Cost" error.

Question 5: Are Lot Control and Country of Origin functionalities supported with bulk items?

Question 1: During a transaction for a bulk item, error "No Records Meet Search Criteria" is displayed. Why? This can occur in many different programs, but is often encountered when trying to reverse a transaction, such as a bulk adjustment or purchase receipt.

Question 2: Which is the proper procedure in order to change product in a currently active tank?

Question 3: The Bulk Transactions (F41511) file has the field "Weight result". Is this weight result being calculated in a vacuum or in air? In case it is in a vacuum, is there a way to calculate and monitor the weight result in air as well?

Question 4: When doing a dip reading, what affect does Floating Roof (FLTR) have on the calculation? How is the Floating Roof Weight and Height used for the calculation?

Question 1: How Does the Density Affect the Tank Capacity Calculation?

Question 2: When doing load confirmation (P49640) for bulk items having the primary unit of measure as volume and the bulk processing option behind shipment confirmation (P4205) set to blank, will the standard volume always get populated in the Quantity Ordered (F4211.SDPQOR) field or are there any circumstances when the system will set the ambient volume in F4211.SDPQOR instead?

Question 3: What is the formula in EnterpriseOne to calculate Vapour Weight in Tank Dip Readings (P415106)?

Question 4: When processing inventory transfers for bulk items using P4113, the OPDT field in F41511 is populated with the transaction date based on F41021.LILTRCJ for the item branch location. Shouldn't the Operational Reconciliation Date field (OPDT) in the Bulk Transaction file (F41511) be populated when running the operational reconciliation program?

Question 5: When trying to receive a purchase order for a bulk product the quantity field is greyed out and it is not possible to do a partial receipt.

Question 6: For bulk sales orders is it mandatory to relieve inventory at shipment confirmation or can this be done directly at sales update?

Question 7: When using P415101- Form exit to Copy BOM - the system gets the components to default in from BOM but not the parent item and the From and To lines. Should those also default in?

Question 8: When using P415101 - Form Exit - Copy BOM, why is ERROR: Copy from BOM Failed (ID 1285) displayed?
