Symptoms
Symptom 1: When trying to copy (CTRL-C) and paste (CTRL-V) or Import rows into the grid for some applications (e.g. P051121), user is getting an error "HTTP Error 500" or the rows are not copied into grid. i.e. grid is blank
Symptom 2: When working in Import Assistant, all of the desired records for the import will display after clicking "Apply". But after clicking "Continue", the screen returns to the application and no records are imported into the grid. The max number that can be successfully imported, varies from application to application or there may be nothing returned at all.
Symptom 3: After upgrading the tools release or web application server, the import assistant, copy / paste, or clipboard option may only bring a limited amount of records back as part of the import process. For example, even though the default limit is set to 1000, users may be able to only import 500 or less, even as few as 30 records depending on the application design.
Symptom 4: Increased the Grid Row Import Size (ini setting GridImportRowLimit ) from the default of 1000 to XXXX but when trying to import additional records, it fails and never reaches the limit.
Common Error for above symptoms:
