Purpose
This document describes the setup, unique requirements, and the processing of HomeBuilder system (44H) "Budget Only" Bids by processing the Lot Start Workfile Generation (R44H700). The results are posted in the General Account balances table (F0902), with creation of JA ledger type Original Budgets directed specifically to Lot cost accounts.
Scope
A Bid may be instigated by a Request for Proposal from the Prime Contractor or Builder, to provide labor and materials for Base House and/or buyer selected option associated construction requirements. Budget Only Bid contracts, enable the user to create budgets at the lot, plan, or elevation level strictly for budgeting purposes and without creating a commitment. For these records established as Bid Only, the system generates only a budget account balance record, and no commitments are created in the EnterpriseOne Procurement system.
