Symptoms
Server Manager Console (SMC) is upgraded to Tools Release 9.1.4.x. EnterpriseOne service on the Enterprise Server fails to start after the SMC change. When opening the Enterprise Server JDE.INI file, the Password parameter is blank in the [SECURITY] section.
Some of the error messages noted for this issue can come from any log file:
Setting the password again through SMC puts an encrypted value in the server JDE.INI file Password parameter.
