E1: UBE : Unable to Open Outputs From WSJ (Work with Submitted Jobs) with Error - 'Unable to retrieve output from ENTSVR' or ' UBE: Retrieve of UBE file failed. The file may not exist on Enterprise Server ' (Doc ID 2026890.1)

Symptoms

A job is submitted successfully to the Enterprise Server, and the status of the job goes to Done in WSJ. Now clicking the hyperlink 'View Output' gives an error message 'Unable to retrieve output from ENTSVR', where ENTSVR is the name of the Enterprise Server.

The following screen shot shows the exact error message received on the screen.

There are no error messages in the jdedebug log of the fat client related to this retrieval failure of pdf.

If using web client then the error message is as shown below :

UBE: Retrieve of UBE file failed. The file may not exist on Enterprise Server

 

 

 

The pdf output file is however created successfully in the Enterprise Server PrintQueue directory, and can be opened manually using Adobe Reader.
