E1: 08: Mandatory Setup for ACA XML File Generation Including Proper File Naming And Checksum / Byte Size (Doc ID 2131023.1)

Last updated on MARCH 05, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Human Resources Management - Version 9.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

This document provides the steps required to create the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Data Transmission XML Files. Separate details for naming the XML files and generating the Manifest XML Checksum / Byte Size are detailed because the setup required to properly create the ACA XML files is different depending on your Tools Release. Systems with a Tools Release earlier than TR 9.1.4 may not have all the necessary applications to setup BI Publisher for automatic re-naming of the XML files and generating the Checksum and Byte Size, and so the required steps are not the same as systems at TR 9.1.4 and higher. Customers on earlier Tools Releases may not have P95641 (Report Definition Archive Paths) for setting the file path location and also may not have certain functionality in P95620 (BI Publisher Report Definitions Burst/Delivery) for setting file name parameters.
