Symptoms

When we install Development Client (Fat Client) for the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne setup E910|9.2.0.x or E900|9.2.0.x , installation fails with below error message mentioned in the screenshot.

The following error is seen in the installActions<timestamp>.log file from C:\Program Files (x86)\Oracle\Inventory\logs:

Changes

Starting with Tools Release 9.2.0.0 the compression process has been changed. Data compression for each path code needs to be done using the new compression standalone utility is named JdeZip.exe.
