E1: 07: Workers Compensation Register (R073601) Not Showing Correct Rates (Doc ID 2140013.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 07, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne US Payroll - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

During Payroll Processing, P07210, the Workers Compensation Register, R073601, is printing employee's home company for every page even though employee has charged time to a job in another company. In addition, if an employee charges time to multiple jobs in different companies and WC code is the same but the 'charge to' rate differs for each company, all companies are printing under the employee’s home company but the Base Rate is from the first company time is charged to instead of a specific rate for each company.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Setup employee who is in company 00001
  2. Enter in time for employee charging to 3 different jobs in three different companies.
  3. Enter in WC rate for each company for specific WC code (i.e. WC 8810).
  4. Setup Payroll ID to pull employee through pre-payoll.
  5. Setup Reports to assure that WC Register (R073601) is processed during JE process.
  6. Process employee through pre-payroll.
  7. Process Journal Entries.
  8. Validate WC Register.
    1. Note that WC Register is printing CO 00001 for all companies.
    2. Note that Base Rate is showing for all hours worked for all jobs for WC code 5213 but rate in WC table differ for each company.
NOTE: All data mentioned above is from JD Edwards Demo Data. No Customer or Personal Data has been mentioned.
