Symptoms

R3483 gives incorrect messages when OP is in transit (receipt routing)

Example: I have a forecast every week on Friday. For every week I have a PO to be received on the Friday. I have an order for the 4th March. The supplier has advised me that he shipped the order early and I will get it on the 19th Feb. I change the promised delivery and the requested date on the PO to the 19th of Feb and I receive it in my receipt routing (In Transit). When I rerun MRP it tell tells me to decrease the quantity on my order for the 26th Feb. There is no adjustment to my original order for the 19th resulting in excess inventory.

Example expected result: I would have expected it to be deferred to the 26th and the quantity adjusted and then my order of the 26th to be deferred to the 4th of March, Therefore I have way too much inventory planned for week of the 19th.
