E1: 49: Scheduled Pick Date (PDDJ) in Sales Order Entry (P4210) Updates Shipment Dates in the Shipment Header (F4215) (Doc ID 2196106.1)

Last updated on JULY 15, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Transportation Management - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When changing the scheduled pick date (PDDJ) on a Transportation Sales Order (P4210), the system is using this date as the promised delivery and promised ship date and updates the shipment incorrectly. The existing shipment is cancelled and a new shipment is created. The scheduled pick date change should not update the shipment.

STEPS

     1. Create a transportation sales order using the P4210 and let all the dates default in as today's date (ex: 6/16).
     2. Verify the shipment has the same dates in the P4915 (Work with Shipments)
     3. Go back into the Sales Order Detail and change the pick date (PDDJ) to 6/23 and blank out the promised ship and promised delivery dates. The pick date will default into these fields.
     4. The dates on the shipment remain with the original date of 6/16.
