E1: 43: Purchase Order Receipts (P4312) Does Not Calculate Lot Expiration Date from Based On Date (Doc ID 2208838.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 25, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Procurement and Subcontract Management - Version 9.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Lot Expiration Date can be calculated from shelf life days and the Based on Date entered at time of P4312 receipt, using the multi-location window. However, If the lot is manually entered prior to accessing the multi-location window, the expiration date is calculated based on system date and shelf life days, not the based on date. In addition, for a lot based purchased item, where the lot process type is for a system generated lot number, such as by Date or by Next Number, system populates the lot number field when the multiple location form is first called. This again means that the expiration date is calculated based on system date and shelf life days, not the based on date.
