E1: 07: Enhancement To Request A Process To Move Accrual Balances To The Employee's New Company
(Doc ID 2261564.1)
Last updated on NOVEMBER 03, 2022
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne US Payroll - Version 9.1 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When an employee is moved from one company to another, their vacation available balance needs to move with them.
The historical flag setting doesn't help in this situation since the business wants to show only the current tax ID amounts on the pay stub for all pay but the vacation available should still take into account the amount available from the prior company.
If you set the vacation pay codes to 1 and the vacation available dba code to 2, then the "Vacation Taken/Available" on the pay stub omits the amounts taken and shows an incorrect vacation available balance.
Just like the Work with Remaining Balances program does for Amount Due, it should calculate the remaining available balance for any accruals and move that balance to the beginning balance for the new company.
