E1: E1PAGE: Translation For Composed Pages Are Incorrect in P9860WD After the Page Modification (Doc ID 2313399.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 29, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a user creates and translates a Composed / Composite Page using P9860WD initially, the translation works perfect. However, it is noticed that if they add new tiles or make any edits to the existing Composed Page's tiles, such as a title or description change, then the translation encounters issues.  Several of the tiles will translate incorrectly or not be visible in P9860WD.  The P9860WD will not update according to the changes.

Note: In order to translate, make sure that each tile has a title and description.  If they do not possess a title and description, they will not be translated.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a Composed Page.
  2. Save it and create the translation in P9860WD for Content Translation. Keep note of the number of records present.
  3. Sign out and sign back in.
  4. Edit that Composed Page to add more tiles and go back into P9860WD.  Not all records will be there or displayed translated correctly.
