Symptoms

When installing Tools Release 9.2.3.x on the Deployment Server, the Server Manager Console prompts for a valid database username and password. After entering a valid username and password, the error message "Either username or password is invalid." is displayed.


    

Also, the following error message is written to the Server Manager Console log:

The issue prevents the installation of tools release 9.2.3.x on your Deployment Server.
