Goal

While doing the 64 bit conversion Process, the Deployment Server has two foundations. In this scenario the default foundation is a 32 bit Tools Release and the alternate foundation is 64 bit Tools Release. This document will help to build a 64 bit Client Only Package.

Note: The first 64-bit full package must include the client. The recommendation is to do a full client and server package.  Once the package is built successfully and files have been converted to 64-bit the pathcode record in the F00942T will have emenvfu2=1.
Note: The first full client and server package built against the 64-bit foundation for a particular pathcode will run the 64-bit conversion process, which will add time to the package build process.  Alternatively, the R9664CONV UBE can be run to convert the pathcode from 32-bit to 64-bit before building the full package.  For more information on this UBE see the Package Management Guide.

More information on the 64-bit Conversion Process can be found on LearnJDE and in this Learning Path.
