Symptoms


When accessing directly into Sales Order (P42101) to perform a line update and inserting a new line into an a previously created sales order, a database problem arises where the transaction is not committed nor recorded in the F76422 table.  Transaction Error is thrown and the order will be locked for the user.

TRANSACTION ERROR
Transaction cannot be committed. It was cancelled

Work Center message text is displayed: Application  Data for P42101 successfully saved. Reason for save: transaction cannot  be committed . It was cancelled.

Logs include:

Failed to perform Insert for F76B4210

Canceling transaction because: TC052 InsertTable:  Insert failed
