Steps to replicate
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Enter a Sales order for a customer and an item using a P4210 version without preferences activated. The ordered quantity is 120 EA.
2.Set and activate basic preference 07(Product Allocation) for the sales process as follow :
2.1 Set Preference Master (P40070) for preference 07.
2.2 In Preference Master (P40070), inquire on the preference type and take the Row Exit to Hierarchy (P40073) and set the preference hierarchy.
2.3 In Preference Master (P40070), inquire on the preference type and take the Row Exit to Profiles (P40307). Add the product allocation preference for an item and a customer (used at step 1 in the sales order), with a Quantity Limit of 100 EA.
2.4 Set processing options for a new version of R40400 (Preference Processing Options):
-Tab Process Ctl , Product Allocation = 1
2.5 Activate basic preference 07 (Product Allocation) in the processing options of P4210 :
-Tab 9-Versions , 6.Preference Profile = version of R40400 set above (step 2.4)
-Tab 10-Preference , 1. Preference Profile Processing = 1 (Activate preference Processing).
This version of P4210 will be used for the new sales orders.
3.Set processing options for R40840 (Preference Profile Processing):
- Tab Process , 1. Replace existing values = 2 (Override all)
- Tab Versions , 1. Version of Preference Profile (R40400) = version of R40400 set above (step 2.4)
4.Run R40840 (Preference Batch Processing) in order to populate existing sales order detail lines with preference profile value for basic preference 07.
5. Inquiry the sales order and see that R40840 did not process the basic preferences 07.

Batch Preference Processing (R40840) needs to re-process the basic preference 07 .
