E1: 32: Extended Weight Is Not Recalculated Correctly For Partial Shipments For Configured Items with Dual Unit of Measure/Dual Picking Process (Doc ID 2429756.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 26, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Configurator - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

EnterpriseOne 9.1
With a configured item (Stock Type C) defined with Dual Unit of Measure (UOM) and Dual Picking Process, when partially shipping a sales order detail line, the system is not updating the Extended Weight correctly with the line split process. The system is keeping the first line (Line 1.000) with the entire/original Extended Quantity value while the second line's (Line 2.000) Extended Weight is blank.

If you uncheck the the Dual Picking Process field in the Item Master, the Extended Weight for both lines is calculated correctly on a line split due to the partial shipment.
