E1: MOBJ: Text in Enhanced Media Object Viewer Not Working In Microsoft Edge Browser 42.* With ActiveX Off

Symptoms
When attempting to add or view TEXT media object attachment with Enhanced Media Object Viewer, the Media Object Viewer Editor is opened, but is not allowing the name or the content to be entered. The Text Editor is not able to obtain the focus resulting is not being able to fill in the name and the content.
The interface looks like simplified mode UI is enabled.
Issue occurs when using Microsoft Edge 42.17134.1.0 version.
It is working fine with Microsoft Edge 41.16299.547.0 version.
NOTE: Microsoft Edge Browser Version 41.* and 42.* are not supported for web client.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to a web client
2. Open P01012 Address Book application
3. Select 1 record and click Row Exit > Attachments
4. Notice: all input text boxes are not editable and not able to get the focus.
