Last updated on NOVEMBER 22, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After a Tools Release upgrade, some users are experiencing user interface issues or other unexpected behavior with the web client. Examples of possible issues are improper rendering of the client in the browser, constant refreshing of the page, and visual assist not working. Other issues may appear as well (for example, 401 HTTP responses have been observed).

Symptom 1:

Some specific examples have been seen in P4620 form W4620H

When clicking on any of the buttons nothing happens. There is no Processing Transactions Pop Up, and users were unable to close the application.

Similar symptoms may be possible through other applications or forms.

Symptom 2:

It has been observed that E1Pages/Composed pages fail to load on specific browsers in some machines.

Symptom 3:

In another instance, when trying to attach a new file attachment, the screen froze upon clicking Save button after selecting the local file.

Symptom 4:

After successfully updating the tools release (Ex:9.2.8.1 to 9.2.9.1), the JDE home page was still displaying as Release 24 instead of Release 25.
