E1: LDAP: How the LDAP Authentication with Role Management Enabled in LDAP Works and How to Manage the Roles from LDAP Server (Doc ID 2465810.1)

Goal

It is required that the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne roles to be managed from the LDAP server used also for E1 authentication process.

Below are the steps required to be followed to set up the E1 role management at LDAP server level and the steps involved when the roles need to be changed for specific users.

This is provided as a proof concept and the below settings should be adapted to the proper LDAP attributes of the used LDAP server. The examples below are based on LDAP server embedded in Microsoft Windows 2012 R2  Active Directory.
