E1: 07: Change Reason (P08EFT) Not Displaying With Certain Step/Pay Rate Cange in EE Master (Doc ID 2503247.1)

Symptoms

When making a change to Step and Hourly Rate at the same time on the Basic Compensation (P0801CMP) screen of the Employee Master (P0801), the system does not take you to the Change Reason (P08EFT) Effective date screen for entering a desired Date and Code.  The system automatically assigns today's date and brings you back to the Work With Employee Information screen without going to Change Reason (P08EFT).  However, if you only make a change to the Hourly Rate field, the system will take you directly to Change Reason (P08EFT) as expected.
