The purpose of this document is to outline our support policy regarding placeholder SRs. A placeholder SR is any SR opened preemptively in case any issues arise as part of system maintenance, installations, or upgrades. For example, if an SR is opened a week before a Tools Release upgrade before any issues are encountered, then this would be considered a placeholder SR.
