Symptoms

Server Manager Agent cannot communicate with the Server Manager Console. The Server Manager Console displays the following warning message:

Warning

The home agent in the management home that owns the selected instance is not running. Management functionality provided by the home agent will not be available.

 

The e1agent log from the Server Manager Agent contains the following log message:

Changes

 A new Server Manager Console was installed on WebLogic or WebSphere to replace the older OC4J Server Manager Console.
