Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne US Payroll - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9.2]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
The state of Colorado is changing their SUI file specifications. This change will go into effect Spring 2020.
Per Colorado:
Currently, we are working on upgrading our internal systems-- a change that will ultimately shift how we send and receive information. This means that all employers and third-party representatives who submit files (either through a direct connection or through the Secure Transport application), will need to use a new format for the quarter & year field when we launch our new UI system.
As it stands, you provide 03, 06, 09, or 12 to represent the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th quarter, along with the year, in the format QQYYYY. With the upcoming change, you will need to provide the year first, and the quarter next--as 01, 02, 03, or 04, in the format YYYYQQ.
*Example for 3rd quarter of 2019:
· Current format: 092019
· New format: 201903
Updated instructions and a reminder notification will be posted on our website ahead of our system go-live, which is planned for Spring 2020. However, in hopes of a smooth transition, we want to give you plenty of time to make the necessary changes to your manual or automated processes. However, it should be noted that the new format should not be implemented in your official, production files until our go-live date.
If you are interested in testing this new format ahead of Go-Live or if you have any questions, please contact us at cdle_wage@state.co.us or 303-318-9094.
