Last updated on APRIL 08, 2024

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When attempting to convert a lead to an opportunity on an existing customer using the Convert Lead button in Lead Entry (90CB010) to create a new record in the CRM Customer table (F90CA080), the following hard error is displayed:

Fetch from table F0116 failed (Error ID 078I)
CAUSE . . . . The record to be fetched from table F0116 does not exist or you do not have authority to fetch records from this table.

RESOLUTION. . Verify that the record being fetched exists and that you have proper authority. Check the JDE.LOG and JDEDEBUG.LOG for additional information.

The error is being set by the Check Company Match (B90CB032) Business Function on line 378 of the code. The table “Address By Date” (F0116) is where the fetch fails to occur. The existing customer's Address Book Number is 21415 and it does exist in the “Address By Date” (F0116) table so the error should not occur.

  1. A new sales lead is created using Lead Entry (90CB010).
  2. After the lead is created the user reenters the Lead Entry (90CB010) program and clicks on the “Convert Lead” button.
  3. The Fetch from table F0116 failed (Error ID 078I).
  4. The user checks the Address By Date” (F0116) table in the databrowser and notices the record was added to the table.
