Symptoms

In a working html instance, which is using ftp, there is intermittent media object functionality failure.  There were no configuration changes such as a change in the ftp user, ftp password etc. which would have triggered this issue.

Note, the same "FTP Connect error: 530 Login incorrect" error can happen if the ftp user or password is actually incorrect but in that case the issue will not be intermittent.
