Symptoms
The digital certificate for ActiveX controls (JDEExpImpU.ocx and JdewebctlsU.ocx) on the following Tools Releases is expired on February 27th 2020.
9.2.3.5 |
9.2.4.1 |
9.2.4.2 |
Steps to check the certificate information:-
1. Right Click on the JDEExpImpU.cab or JdewebctlsU.cab file
2. Go to Digital Signatures Tab and Click Details
3. In Digital Signature Details screen, Click on View Certificate button under General Tab
4. Review Validity dates for the certificate
This could cause an issue for users (who are non-Administrator windows user) after this expiry date to not able to do grid import/export or add media object attachments and these users will be prompted with Windows Administrator Login (Admin Prompt).
However, Out-of-date ActiveX control blocking is turned off in the Local Intranet Zone and the Trusted Sites Zone; therefore, intranet websites and line-of-business apps will continue to use out-of-date ActiveX controls without disruption.
