E1 XMLP: Understanding the Embedded BI Publisher Kernel Polling Process (Doc ID 2651557.1)

Purpose

Embedded BI Publisher for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne leverages the output of UBEs to deliver content-rich reports. This solution was initially delivered with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Release 8.96 (phase 1) and enhanced in Tools Release 8.97 (phase 2). Further enhancements were added in 8.98 and 9.1. Starting with Tools Release 9.1.4 the XMLP kernel's architecture was changed from push to pull  model and the new design handles large data sets in much improved fashion.

This document explains the Embedded BI Publisher Kernel's Polling mechanism in the new pull model and explains the selection criteria.
