E1: E1PAGE: "File upload failed. Check logs for errors" When Uploading .Zip File to Create Classic E1 Page (Doc ID 2654495.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to upload a Classic E1Page .zip file, the page fails to create and the following messages appear:

"File upload failed. Check logs for errors."

 

"The content or file you tried to upload is not valid. Please upload a valid zip file." 

 

 
The log includes the following:

[WARN][JAS]FileUploadInclusionList.validateFileExtension -- File Extention is invalid. File type: 3 - Upload E1Page Zip/Jar Content File file name: .DS_Store
[SEVERE][RUNTIME]ProcessConfigHomePage.validateContents(): Invalid file extension. Upload Fail due to invalid file name:E:\jde_home1\SCFHA\targets\JDEWEBDV\temp\web.zip
[SEVERE][RUNTIME]ProcessConfigHomePage.validateContents(): Failed to validate "home.html" in file (E:\jde_home1\SCFHA\targets\JDEWEBDV\temp\web.zip).
Zip must contain the "home.html" to be a valid E1Page.
[SEVERE][JAS]Preview E1page: failed; Error Code : 1
[SEVERE][RUNTIME]Invalid File. Please verify the file content of zip file.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Select Manage Content, then Classic Pages from the User's drop down menu on the Home page.
2. Enter Product Code = 55
3. Select Upload HTML Content.
4. Select zip file
5. Select Upload
