Symptoms
Currently there is not an option to choose what Tax Method you want to use when the Exempt Flag is set to 1 when adding a 2020 W4 through ESS (P05410|ZJDE0011). It appears that the R0855303 is coded to set the Tax Method field on the Employee Master to 2 if the Exempt Flag is set to 1 in P085303W when you submit the R0855303 with processing option set to update the FICM field.
Requesting an option or code change to be added to allow for choosing which Tax Method you want when performing this ESS W4 process since "2" may not be the choice for everyone. In the meantime, the Tax Method will need to be manually updated in the Employee Master if necessary.
