E1: 42: R42565 - Invoice Print Is Updating Next Status As Per Order Activity Rule Set Not Considering Next Order Status Preference (Doc ID 2669744.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 18, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Sales Order Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When Next Order Status Preference is enabled in R42565 Processing options, R42565 is not updating Next status of the Sales Order with status as per Preference set up but updated as per Order activity rules even though there is a matching next order status preference.

Steps to Replicate Issue:

1.In Next Order Status Profile Revisions (P40341), set up a preference for one specific customer, which will override the next status to 600 After Sales Order Invoice
2.Enter sales order with Order Status 520/580
3.Enable “Next Order Status Preference” in R42565 Processing Options
4.Notice that after invoice, Next Status is updated with 620 and not 600 as per Next Order Status Preference
