E1: ORCH: Orchestrator B98ORCH Called In A Batch using Role Not Included in *ALL (Doc ID 2683214.1)

Last updated on JUNE 01, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Orchestrator - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Customer created a batch that calls an orchestration, using B98ORCH. The user that uses this batch has two roles associated, but only one is included in *ALL. Suppose that role A is included in *ALL and role B is not included. When the user enters in JDE using role B and launches the batch, the orchestration is called with the default role A.

Also tried to map role as an input in B98ORCH, mapping a value in Processing options, but the roles used to call the orchestration is always the default included in *ALL and not the one specified in PO or the role used by the user.

The problem is that customer has different Personal forms published on role B and the orchestration works only with that personal form.
