E1: 43: Purchase Order Receipts (P4312) to Use the Lot Dates from Lot Master (F4108) When Receiving the Same Lot into a Different Branch and Allow Duplicate Lots = 3 (Doc ID 2702516.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 11, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Inventory Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When using the Inventory Transfer program, P4113, to transfer a lot from one branch to another branch, the lot expiration date is retained.

But this logic is not applied when a lot is created by other transaction such as Purchase Order Receipts (P4312). For example, a Supplier is delivering the same lot to different warehouses. The first receipt will default the expiration date as per item setup and it can be changed by user upon receipt.

The customer would like the functionality to default the lots dates from the lot master (F4108) when the same lot is received into another branch.
