Last updated on JULY 13, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Shop Floor Control - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When using the Validate Quantity at Operation option in Super Backflush (P31123), upon entering a Quantity Completed equal to the Quantity at Operation and after an outside operation, the system will display the following error:

Quantity Exceeds At Operation Quantity
Error ID 4792

This issue occurs in an environment with Bug 31214393 applied.

Steps:
1. Create a manufactured and outside operation item (*OP) in the Item Master/Item Branch (P4101/P41026).
2. Create an Item Routing (P3003) where the first operation is an outside operation with Pay Point = 0 and the second is Pay Point = B.
3. Create a Work Order (P48013) for an order quantity of 250.
4. Run Order Processing (R31410) over the Work Order; ensure that the system generates a Purchase Order for the outside operation item.
5. Receive the Purchase Order (P4312) for the outside operation and make sure to click OK in the P3103 screen.
6. In Super Backflush (P31123), set processing option 1 in the Edits tab to 1 (Validate Quantity at Operation).
7. Inquire on the Work Order in Super Backflush, P31123. Notice that the first operation shows Total Quantity Completed = 250.
8. In the second operation, enter the full amount in Quantity Completed and click OK. Notice that the system displays the following error:

Quantity Exceeds At Operation Quantity
