Last updated on JANUARY 23, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Requirements Planning - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a Manufactured Parent Item with a Bill of Material (BOM) is set to Order Policy Code (OPC) = 4 (Periods of Supply) R3483 plans incorrect supply quantities and dates. If the BOM is deleted and R3483 is re-run the plan is correct.

This issue can be duplicated with these steps:

  1. Set up Manufactured Parent with a BOM and OPC = 4 and Value = 60
  2. Enter a monthly Forecast
  3. Enter a small beginning inventory.
  4. Run R3483 and review the results.
  5. Delete the BOM and re-run R3483 and view the corrected results.
