Goal

California State Bill 973 requires Pay Data reporting. This legislation was enacted on September 30, 2020, and private employers of 100 or more employees must report certain pay and other data to the Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) by March 31, 2021, and annually thereafter. This is similar to EEO-1 Component 2 for pay data which was initially required but then halted as of August 2017.

Additionally, California State Bill 1162 also requires Pay Data Reporting.
