Symptoms

In EnterpriseOne instances using non-Oracle database, P3711|W3711B form allows addition of attachments with blank Generic Text Key (TXKY) value in F00165. This can done by accessing the Attachments row exit or by double-clicking on the row header, without entering any values in the specific row, as shown below . There should never be a record in the F00165 media object table for any data structure with a blank TXKY value and that can cause undesirable results.

Steps to replicate:

1. Access P3711 from fastpath and click Find
2. Click on Add button or select any existing record from the grid
3. Access the Attachments row exit or double-click on the row header for an empty row in the grid

4. Add a text attachment, for example, in the opened media object screen and save
5. Open F00165 in databrowser and look for Object Name (OBNM) = GT3711. A new record with blank Generic Text Key (TXKY) is available now.
